Microsphere (Cenosphere)
Our specialty is the production and supply of microspheres (cenospheres) – a lightweight, ceramic material with unique physicochemical properties. ZUMiR microspheres are a product formed during coal combustion, characterized by low density, high compressive strength, excellent thermal insulation, and chemical inertness.
Key features of microspheres:
- Low density (0.35–0.9 g/cm³)
- High mechanical strength
- Resistance to temperatures above 1000°C
- Low water absorption and excellent insulation properties
- Wide range of particle sizes (40 – 500 μm)
- Color: from gray to white
