Production

The technological process of acquiring the microspheres from volatile ashes (100181) begins in the moment of hydraulic transmission of wet waste mixture of cinders and ashes form a power plant to landfills (lagoons). When it comes in contact with water, light fractions are separated from heavy fractions of clinker-ashes. On the surface of water big clusters of light fractions are created which are then transported to dripping cells by the combination of wells, ditches and pipes. In those cells initial processing takes place - filtering as much water as possible and separating all natural impurities, like remains of plants and branches. Next step takes place after transporting the microspheres to a warehouse where it is subjected to the next stages of drying. The final humidity of less than 0.5% is obtained during a heat treatment in special chambers, gravitational driers, where the microspheres are subjected to fractioning (segregated in terms of weight) and final cleaning. The last phase is packaging the finished product into sealed packs according to customer's requirements. The microspheres can be packed in 20 kg paper bags or 500 kg big-bag-type bags. All packs are placed on pallets and additionally secured with a thermo-shrinkable foil to preserve their physical characteristics.
